Since then it has had several expansions and renovations having nowdays almost 200 shops and restaurants. There are three department stores, a Target as well as several major clothing stores. Some of the most popular are Forever 21, Coach, Lucky Brand, Superdry and Abercrombie & Fitch. Another store not to be missed when visiting South Shore is Primark, where you can buy clothes for women, men and children at fairly low prices.

Just as there are many shops in this shopping center, the amount of dining options is not far behind. There is a big food court with several interesting options, but if you have more time and prefer to sit down restaurant there is much to choose from. You can go to The Cheesecake Factory, eat a burger at Red Robin, Italian food at Davio’s, seafood at Cap’t Loui or some casual bites at California Pizza Kitchen or BWW. Wrentham Village Premium Outlets

Although, as you may have seen before, there are plenty of places to shop in this city, if you want to get the best deals you will have to go to the outlets in Boston. The largest are the Wrentham Village located in the southwest (near Gillette Stadium). This is one of the largest outlets in the country having more than 150 stores. If you like luxury fashion and don’t want to pay the full retail price of stores on Newbury Street or Copley Place, you can come here and take advantage of discounts on brands like Salvatore Ferragamo, Versace, Prada, Burberry and Gucci.

There are many popular stores in these outlets in Boston such as Vineyard Vines, Calvin Klein, Armani Exchange, Diesel, MaxMara or Boss. There are also several sports brands including Under Armour and Nike as well as the outlet versions of the famous department stores Bloomingdale’s and Saks. Not only will you find promotions on clothes and accessories as you can also get good discounts in the outlet store of the famous furniture brand Restoration Hardware.

Assembly Row

Although Assembly Row doesn’t have as many stores as Wrentham Village, there is something that makes it one of the best outlets in Boston: its various entertainment venues. This is open-are mixed use development in the Somerville area. This place should be a must visit in any shopping trip at Boston as it is a pretty nice place with lots to do. We will start with the activities you can do here, as in addition to visiting its many shops, you can also go to watch a movie, play bowling or eat in one of its restaurants.

Kids will surely want to go to Legoland Discovery Center and enjoy one of the many fun activities they can do there. Meanwhile their parents can go to the outlet stores of brands like Columbia, Ann Taylor, Express, Lucky Brand, Polo Ralph Lauren or J.Crew. Also, you can cross the street and go to its Marketplace which has several big box stores such as T.J.Maxx, Bed Bath & Beyond or Burlington, among others.

Merrimack Premium Outlets

If none of the outlets in Boston we’ve shown you have just convinced you, there is one more option. Merrimack Premium Outlets offers visitors more than 100 stores with discounts throughout the year. The best thing about visiting these outlets is that as they are located in New Hampshire you do not have to pay taxes, so you will get even better prices.

This outlet hosts many national and international brands such as Marc Jacobs, Kate Spade, Barbour, Tommy Hilfiger, Banana Republic and Adidas. The only thing wrong with the outlet is that it is a bit far from Downtown Boston, so it is advisable to visit it only if you are taking your own car or renting one. This, since there is no public transport to there and it is expensive to go by taxi or Uber.

  • Other Stores: Aeropostale, Bloomingdale´s Outlet, Chico´s, Columbia, Michael Kors, Nautica, Nike

Other Places to Go Shopping in Boston

Newbury Street: Although there are many malls in Boston, there is one street that continues to be the best for shopping in this city. We talk about Newbury Street where you will find the most famous fashion stores, as well as several restaurants and other businesses. Here we will focus on the large number of shops on this street and others around it. Some of the best are Ralph Lauren, COS, Indochino, Anthropologie, Reformation and Zara. Also two of the most famous Japanese shops have presence in this street: Muji & Uniqlo.

There are several sports brands that have stores in Newbury St, such as The North Face, Lululemon, Athleta and Nike. You will eventually encounter several of the most popular high-end stores in the world. One of the great attractions of this street is that here is the only boutique of the legendary French brand, Chanel. It is not the only luxury store in the area as you can also go to Giorgio Armani and Valentino, as well as to the jewelry stores Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels or Bvlgari.

Shoppers World: Very close to the Natick Mall is this other place that although not so big, has good shops. It is even considered among the best malls in Boston if you are looking for bargains as there are several discount stores. For example here is Nordstrom Rack, famous for its discounts on clothing and accessories from premium and luxury fashion brands. It is not the only shop of this type since Marshalls and T.J.Maxx are also here. You can also get cheap shoes at DSW or visit more stores like Best Buy, World Market, Sierra and Five Below.

CambridgeSide: Near Lechmere Canal Park and the Museum of Science is this mall that has been operating since the 90s. Unfortunately it has lost many of its anchor stores in recent years. But if you visit the museum or are in the area, you can make a stop here as still some interesting places remain open. Above all, it is famous for having a big food court or you can also eat at The Cheesecake Factory. As for its retail directory, it is headed by the discount store T.J.Maxx in addition to having the Apple Store, Foot Locker or Sephora as well as clothing brands like Superdry or American Eagle.
