Omaha is a city that may not be as famous compared to others in the area, but in which you will find many things to do. In addition to visiting an incredible zoo, museums and its many wonderful restaurants, it can also be a shopping destination. Here we will tell you which are the best malls in Omaha where you can go shopping at the most outstanding stores and fashion brands. You will be able to know where to go for shopping both famous fashion brands and nice local stores, as well as department stores, the outlets in Omaha and more.
Malls in Omaha
Not only is it one of the nicest malls in Omaha, but Village Pointe is one of the best stores. This shopping center is full of upscale stores and restaurants, all gathered in this center with a pleasant open-air design. You will be more than happy to spend the whole afternoon as there is so much to do. Just speaking of retail, there are many options since although there are no department stores there are very good fashion brands, electronics and makeup stores and more. For example here are the only stores in the city of Sephora, Apple, Scheels and various clothing brands.
Fashion enthusiasts in Omaha love this mall as they can go to numerous stores such as Urban Outfiters, Coach, J.Jill, White House Black Market and Altar’d State. There are also the athleisure clothing brands Lululemon, Athleta and Fabletics that you can use both for sports and on a daily basis. Plus there’s a Best Buy and Bed Bath & Beyond. As if that were not enough, to complete its extensive range of shops there are several restaurants and entertainment venues. Firebirds, Saltgrass or Bravo are some of the restaurants waiting to delight you with their delicious dishes. And to end your day you can go see a movie or have fun at their comedy club.

But in addition to these department stores, you can do your shopping in other of its more than 100 stores that include H&M, Forever 21, Hollister, Express and American Eagle.
That’s not all the shopping options in Westroad Mall as there is also a Five Below and the multi-brand discount shoe stores DSW and Famous Footwear. This mall, which has been in operation for more than half a century, is also a good place to eat (either at The Cheesecake Factory, P.F. Changs’ or one of its other restaurants) or see the latest film releases in the AMC movie theaters

Regency Shopping Center
In the same area as the Westroads Mall there are more shops and restaurants, as well as other smaller malls. Regency Shopping Center is one of them, and it has the best stores. It also includes fashion brands that you won’t see in other malls in Omaha like Evereve, Ann Taylor and Anthropologie. Also here is the famous Pottery Barn furniture store and kitchen appliances & food store: Williams Sonoma as well as Apricot Lane, an excellent women’s clothing store with a wonderful selection of clothing from various brands.
You can also go to one of its spas and beauty salons or visit the jewelry store Borsheim’s. The dining options in the Regency Shopping Center aren’t as plentiful as there are only two restaurants, but both are quite good. We are talking about Flemings and Bonefish Grill, restaurants known for their excellent steaks and seafood.

Oak View Mall
Open since 1991, the Oak View Mall is another alternative for shopping in Omaha. This shopping center has seen better days, as several of its stores have closed. But that does not mean that there are no good places to visit. Here is the only Dillard’s store in town besides JCPenney and several major stores like Rue21, Hot Topic, Build-a-Bear, Journeys and Buckle.
If you want to eat something in the mall you can go to its food court, but if you prefer to go to a sit-down restaurant on the outside (past the parking lot) there are several like Longhorn, Chili’s or Applebee’s. Another of the malls in Omaha that you cannot miss is Shadow Lake Towne Center, located in the southern part of the city. The design of this shopping center is somewhat peculiar since its stores are arranged in a large circle that surrounds the Hy-Vee grocery store, the parking lot and other stores. The store directory is very complete since you can buy everything. For example, there are several famous clothing brands such as Old Navy, Maurices, Cacique, Ann Taylor and Victoria’s Secret. They are not the only places to buy clothes as you can also go to two of the best discount stores: Burlington and T.J.Maxx or the JCPenney department store.
If you want to play sports, at Dick’s Sporting Goods you will find everything you need. In addition, sports fans should go to the Rally House where they can find a wide variety of clothing and products from their favorite sports teams. Rockbrook Village is not like the other malls in Omaha that we have told you about. And there is something that makes it stand out from the rest: you won’t find big national brands since all its stores and restaurants are locally owned. This is why this is a shopping center that you cannot miss as they sell excellent products of all kinds. And boy, the variety of stores is very wide since there are from clothing stores (such as The Clothier’s Daughters, Rossi and Four Sisters), an oil and vinegar store, one that sells hair care products, to even a bird supply store.
The mall is also home to one of the best pet supply stores in the city: Pets-R-Us. Other of its most outstanding stores are the Alletti jewelry store, the Blooms flower store or the gift and stationery store: RSVP. You can also stay for a meal or a drink here whether it be excellent Italian food at Pasta Amore or Don Carmelo’s or Indian food and a beer at Jaipur Brewing Company.

Bargain seekers will find several at Westwood Plaza. This is one of several strip malls in Omaha, but this one stands out for its many discount stores. Burlington and T.J.Maxx are the two main stores here, famous for their great sales on women’s, men’s and children’s clothing as well as selling accessories and shoes. You will find clothes from famous fashion brands in both stores and you never know what you will find so it is well worth visiting both.
Other discount stores in this shopping center include Dollar Tree, Half-Price Books or Boots for Less among others. If you visit Westwood Plaza you will also see several restaurants (including Arby’s and IHOP), beauty salons, a spa, dry cleaners and even movie theaters and escape rooms.

Outlets in Omaha
In the southwestern part of the city (and less than a half hour drive from Omaha) are the only outlets in Omaha: Nebraska Crossing. This place is quite large and includes several of the most famous fashion brands both in the country and in the world. The best thing is that it is open all year round and there are always good discounts, so it must be an essential visit for shopaholics. Among the most popular are Polo Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors, Levi’s, J.Crew, Ann Taylor or Banana Republic.
You can’t miss stores like Coach, Tory Burch, Tommy Hilfiger, Lucky Brand or the sports brands Nike, Under Armour and Puma. If you are looking for a new pair of shoes, coming here is your best option since you can go to the Ecco, Skechers or Johnston & Murphy outlet stores or to Rack Room Shoes.

Here are Hobby Lobby and Best Buy as well as a Target. Plus there’s a Office Max and the pet supply store, Petco. If you walk across the street there are many more small shops and restaurants including the Skechers outlet store.
But that’s not all, since on 72nd Street (which intersects with Dodge St) there are even more stores. There are some furniture stores among which Nebraska Furniture Mart stands out.
